Pen Pal Camp began in 2012 as an offshoot of the Pen Pal Project. Sponsored and hosted by Tim Horton Children's Foundation the camp provides grade six Pen Pals the opportunity to immerse in cultural exchange and to join their pen pal in an overnight camp experience. The youth participate in various activities hosted by camp counsellors and artists from their own communities and cultures. Activities include high ropes climbing, visual art, spoken word art, hip hop dance, archery, collective games, etc.
